Meet Lucas! | Pets

Lucas is this week's News10NBC and Lollypop Farm "Friday's Friend." Lucas is a German shepherd dog who was brought to the shelter because his owners were moving and didn’t take him with them.

After 11 years in his previous family, he’s now looking for new digs. Lucas is sporting an interesting hair-do because of a little minor surgery and grooming to remove some mats in his fur. He’d prefer to be master of his kingdom, and might not want to share his house with other dogs and should meet any other dogs in the home. He definitely says no to cats! Lollypop Farm recommends that Lucas go to a home with older kids.

Lucas qualifies for two of our adoption programs:

o our Seniors-for-Seniors program, where adopters aged 60 or over can adopt him for free AND our Pets for Patriots program, where members of our armed forces are able to adopt him for a 50% discount (pre-approval needed).
