Crews will be working to clean up Tuesday after a fire damaged an optics plant Monday night

The co-owner of APO Incorporated tells News10NBC they will be closed for the next few days.

Firefighters say a machine caught fire around 10 p.m. Neighbors on Bennington Drive called 911 after they smelled smoke. Luckily no one was hurt.

The company employs 15 people and makes lenses, mirrors and prisms.

Several other optics companies offered their equipment so APO can stay in production.
