Fireworks return to Greece this year | Events

The fireworks display in Greece is back for 2012.

“The Spirit of America Celebration”, will be held at Grace & Truth SportsPark on North Greece Road in Hilton on July 4. Gates will open at 5:00p.m. with activities and games. Fireworks will begin at 10:00p.m.

Event organizers say for the first year since its inception, they are asking every family to do their part to keep the fireworks in Greece. A $10 donation per car for on-site parking is being asked. Parking is limited so there will be a shuttle service that runs from First Bible Baptist Church on Manitou Road to the event. The cost of the shuttle is $2 per person (round trip) and kids under five are free.

In 2011, there wasn’t enough funding to put on the fireworks show.
