Greece man who sexually abused boy sentenced to jail time | Crime

The Greece man who admitted to sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy he met on Xbox was sentenced Friday morning.

Richard Kretovic was supposed to be sentenced last week but both the district attorney's office and a defense lawyer said they needed more time to discuss the appropriate punishment.

Today, Kretovic was sentenced to what the District Attorney's office calls shock probation. That sentence includes six months in jail and will require him to register as a sex offender when he is released.

Kretovic previously pleaded guilty to sexually abusing the boy.
