Woman charged with DWI after crash on Lake Ontario State Parkway | Crime
A 33-year-old Hamlin woman is facing DWI charges after a crash on the Lake Ontario State Parkway in Parma. It happened around 11:40 p.m. Sunday near Lighthouse Road.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies say Amy Stothard was drunk when she crossed the center median and crashed into a car with two people inside.
Deputies say Stothard told them she swerved to avoid a turtle in the road.
No one was seriously injured.
