Bartolomeo and Perotto Funeral Home to hold Memorial Day planting event

Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home in Greece will be holding a Memorial Day flower planting event in honor of our fallen soldiers on Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m.

The event will be held at Bartolomeo & Perotto’s creek-side, butterfly garden, on Vintage Lane in Greece.

Last year, four statues representing each branch of the military were installed and dedicated at the annual Memorial Day flower planting event. The family of Army Specialist Keith Girardi-Pulley, who passed away in 2011 while stationed in Arizona, donated the statues in his honor.

All are welcome to participate in the tribute to fallen family members, friends, and unknown soldiers by planting a flowering perennial in their memory.  The plants and tools will be provided by the funeral home. All those interested in attending are asked to call 720-6000 by Thursday, May 23.
