I-Team 10 update: Crescent Beach Hotel pays delinquent tax bill after seizure | Business

The New York Department of Taxation and Finance says it has given the keys back to the owners of the historic Crescent Beach Hotel and Restaurant.

The state seized the restaurant early today, posting signs on the windows.

The owners of the Crescent Beach had four warrants for failure to pay sales and corporate taxes. Those warrants totaled more than $48,000.

A spokesperson late this afternoon tells I-Team 10 the owners "satisfied their outstanding warrants" this afternoon.

Crescent Beach Restaurant is located on Edgemere Drive in Greece and overlooks Lake Ontario. It's a popular location for wedding receptions and private parties.
